Being surrounded by people following their passions and their dreams is a good inspiration for thinking about what one really wants to achieve in life, and about what you want to spend your time and your life on.
One of my grandfather’s wise advices is that “en el mar como en la vida hay que mirar alto y hay que mirar lejos” (“in the sea, as well as in life, you must look up and and you must look far away“). Have big aspirations, know where you are going, and look your life with long term perspective.
I often remember these advices when I need to take important decisions. I remember my dreams and try no to be submerged by the daily activity. I guess it’s important to realize that the things you don’t like are not going to change alone. No one says it’s going to be easy but, again, the biggest failure is not trying and the worse that can happen is 3 more months spent in learning that this was not the correct way.
These are my thoughts today… we’ll see how they materialize. And that’s a quote for inspiration:

No és fàcil trobar emprenedors que hagin estudiat a Esade. Quan acabes hi ha una gran temptació en acabar en la vida de l’assalariat, en la seva seguretat de disposar d’uns ingressos fixes a canvi de les teves hores. Em sorprèn més que siguis tan apassionada i ambiciosa, que miris un pas més endevant que la majoria de les persones, normalment la gent que he conegut a Esade no tenien gaire clar el que volien de la seva vida! I per últim, el teu interès per la informàtica també em crida l’atenció, suposo que ja sabràs que una noia a Silicon Valley no és molt típic… hahah

Hola Jean-Pierre! Quina il·lusió!
De moment crazy i amb ganes de canviar el món, lo de emprenedora està encara per demostrar ;-) Encara que “voler és poder”, falta un bon camí per recórrer. Però des d’aquí t’animo a decidir el que vols fer a la teva vida després d’Esade i lluitar per allò :D. Què és això de Shining Design Interactive? Com va?

M’has fet pensar bastant… d’on has tret això de Shining Design? però pel que veig has xafardejat a LinkedIn hahah. Si no m’equivoco em vaig fer el compte a LinkedIn ahir o abans d’ahir. És el meu primer negoci que emprenc, una empresa de multimèdia que porta 1 mes (e-business). De moment disseny web externalitzat a Índia, entre altres serveis gràfics, més endevant desenvolupament de software, començant per un joc online a on la gent s’hi enganxi, paguin i jo cobri… hahah. Depèn de com vagi venc l’empresa i entro en altres mercats. En temps de crisis un videolloguer a domicili pot funcionar molt bé i superada la crisis una agència de viatges d’esports extrems i aventura especialitzada amb la seva línia de roba esportiva. En fi, jo em motivo molt amb moltes idees i molts cops he de parar el carro i centrar-me en coses més importants…
recorda, l’èxit en qualsevol àmbit és una actitud. Val més començar petit, però haver començat, que fer grans projectes però tenir por en llençar-te a la piscina. A l’emprenedor se’l pot treure tot el que té i és capaç de generar diners des de 0.
Jo no vull canviar el món, jo el vull conquerir!!

És veritat que un emprenedor té aquesta capacitat de tornar a començar de 0 sense por, amb entusiasme i optimisme. Tercera vegada que ho experimento en els últims 12 mesos… :D
Doncs et felicito pel teu projecte. Estic segura de que aprendràs molt i serà una bona escola per la conquesta del món :D No deixis de motivar-te, què pot ser més important que això? ;-)
